About Larry Wayne

As a boy I was fascinated to hear a human voice coming out of the speaker in my dad's car. When I later had the opportunity to spend 15 minutes as a guest teen DJ on the powerhouse 50,000 watt WLS in Chicago, "Mid America's Friendly Giant," I was convinced using my voice would be fun—and it still is!

After a stint in the Army with Armed Forces Radio in Alaska, I stayed to enjoy the rugged beauty of the 49th state. I also had the opportunity to set up my own voice for hire studio in my home..the meager beginnings of Larry Wayne Audio!

I decided to thaw out by moving to the Pacific Northwest, and was part of the start-up for the Air 1 Radio Network near Portland, Oregon. I did morning drive and production. Four years later, I continued my move south and currently you'll hear me weeknights on the nationwide K-LOVE Radio Network based in Sacramento, CA.

My voice projects now include infomercials on the Golf channel, training classes on line, mp3 walking tours, narrations and corporate presentations and many radio/tv campaigns. (see client page for a short sample list of recent projects). People tell me I'm easy to direct and fun to work with. I strive to be professional and honest, fast and competitively priced.
